Brown-Bag Discussion: Israeli/Palestinian Conflict and Diasporas
Description:
The Arab and Jewish Diasporas in Latin America and the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict: Part of the Problem or Part of the Solution?
After returning from fieldwork in Latin America, Professor Edy Kaufman will be leading a brown-bag discussion on the latest findings of his Wilson-Center-sponsored project.
Join us in exploring the concept of "long-distance nationalism" and the variables relevant for Arab and Jewish communities' involvement in peace-building.
Professor Kaufman is a senior research scientist at the Center for International Development and Conflict Management and co-director of Partners in Conflict/Partners in Peace.
