Lecture by Artist Karina Aguilera Skvirsky
Description:
The Art Gallery at the University of Maryland is pleased to invite the College Park community to a lecture by Karina Aguilera Skvirsky, one of the featured artists in the "Network of Mutuality: 50 Years Post-Birmingham" exhibition. She will discuss her photos of historic lynching sites in the Baltimore area, which are on view in the exhibition. An opening reception for the exhibition will follow immediately after at The Art Gallery (Art-Sociology Building; Room 2202).
