Student Entertainment Events Presents: Oscar Film Series featuring "Lincoln"
Description:
Join SEE on Feb. 13 for a screening of "Lincoln." Doors open at 6:45 p.m. & the film will begin at 7:00 p.m. This event is free and not ticketed, and is co-sponsored by The Stamp.
As the Civil War nears its end, President Abraham Lincoln clashes with members of his cabinet over the issue of abolishing slavery. Lincoln has been nominated for Best Picture, Leading Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis), Supporting Actor (Tommy Lee Jones), Supporting Actress (Sally Field), Cinematography, Costume Design, Directing, Film Editing, Music - Original Score, Production Design, Sound Mixing, and Writing - Adapted Screenplay.
