The War of 1812 Comes to Prince George's County - Save the dates

Description:
The period 2012-2015 marks the Bicentennial of the War of 1812. Many defining engagements of that war took place in Prince Georges County. Join the campus community at three special presentations commemorating the war in this county. All events begin at 1:00. Seating is limited. Sponsored by the Department of Residential Facilities, Maryland Milestones, and the Maryland Humanities Council. 2/20 - African American Heroes of the War of 1812: A Living History Portrayal of Charles Ball. 3/13 - The War of 1812 at Riversdale Plantation: A Living History Portrayal of Rosalie Stier Calvert. 3/27 - The Search for the Scorpion: Underwater Archeology May Reveal Joshua Barneys Flagship. {Will appear in FYI on Feb 12, 2013
