INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP SERIES: Congressional Internships, Presented by UMD alumnus Scott Baker
Description:
Mr. Scott Baker is a University of Maryland College Park alumnus. He served as a congressional staff member for 13 years and was the Washington Internship Coordinator to former U.S. Congressman Chet Edwards of Waco, Texas from 2003 to 2011.
In this session, Mr. Baker will provide students a better understanding of how to research and apply to congressional internships. He will also give insight on how to best develop your resume, cover letter and writing samples to stand out amongst the competition.
