UPDATE Brazilian music event

Description:
The trio Choro Manha led by Dr. Richard Miller is joined in this live performance only by the well known Brazilian songstress, Gigi Macaxeira who hails from João Pessoa, and brings the culture of the Brazilian Northeast in the way she sings, plays and charms with a repertoire that includes Brazilian styles (choro, samba, bossa nova, forró, etc.), American jazz, Latin American styles (samba, bolero, tangos, etc.) VIDEO clip at http://www.jasonennis.com/chorodamanha/ Involuntary immigrants from the African continent made great contributions to several musical genres both in North America and South America, but in quite different ways. Come out and explore with us what happened in Brazil, where Choro music was born a century ago. Dining Services is co-sponsoring this event with a tasty edible Brazilian treat while supplies last.
