Voices of Social Change: Chocolate City Film & Discussion
Description:
Ellie Walton is a filmmaker and educator who produces radio and video documentaries.
Join us on March 6th, 2013, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM in the Thurgood Marshall Room, STAMP as we watch her documentary Chocolate City as part of our Voices of Social Change presentation.
This documentary that explores the rapid gentrification of Washington, DC through the eyes of women who are fighting to return to their neighborhood.
We will follow the documentary with a discussion led by Ellie Walton and the women featured in the film.
