Friday, March 8th: "Turkey, European Union, Democracy & Transatlantic relations" (Kader Sevinc)
Description:
Kader Sevinc, the representative for the European Union of the Turkish social democratic party, the CHP, will be giving a talk, addressing the following key issues:
- Global changes and Europe's political and economic challenges.
- State of Turkey's EU membership process.
- Turkey's democratic, economic and social reform agenda, gender equality challenges and the EU membership process.
All interested faculty and students are invited. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
This event is organized by the Turkish Student Association.
