An Employers Perspective: The Value of Interdisciplinary Studies in the Workforce

Description:
Are you often asked about what you will DO with your women's studies, LGBT studies, American studies, and/or other interdisciplinary major? Hear from employers in a variety of industries about why they value your skill set. Although this program is being organized by the Womens Studies Department, students from all majors (especially liberal arts fields such as African American Studies, LGBT Studies, American Studies, Jewish Studies, Latin American Studies, etc.) are more than welcome to attend. The event will consist of a 45-minute panel discussion, followed by a networking social. {Will appear in FYI on Apr 16, 2013
