Mechanical Engineering Seminar TODAY! - Molecular-to-Macro-Scale Control of Interfacial Behavior in Nucleate Pool Boiling by Polymeric Reagents in Aqueous
Description:
"Molecular-to-Macro-Scale Control of Interfacial Behavior in Nucleate Pool Boiling by Polymeric Reagents in Aqueous "
Presented by: Dr. Raj M. Manglik (University of Cincinnati)
Abstract:
This presentation delineates aspects of micro-scale interfacial changes that are caused at a molecular-scale by the relative adsorption-de¬sorption of reagents at the liquid-vapor interface, their physisorption and electrokinetics at the liquid-solid interface, and the consequent modulation of the nucleate boiling performance.
