MAPP Lecture: Evan Roth: Plblic Space, White Walls & the Internet | Friday, April 5th at 6:15pm

Critically acclaimed artist and UMD alum Evan Roth (B.S. Architecture 00) returns to campus this Friday to discuss how hacker philosophies can be applied to making art online, in the gallery and in the city. Roths lecture, "Public Space, White Walls and the Internet," will take place April 5, 2013, 6:15 pm in the Architecture Building Auditorium at the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. The lecture coincides with a solo show of Roths work, Casual Computing, on display at the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservations Kibel Gallery through May 10. This is Roths first time displaying work at the University of Maryland since he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2000.This exhibition, curated by Associate Professor of Architecture Ronit Eisenbach and designed by Eisenbach and Gallery Assistant Kristen Fox (M.ARCH 13), is an exciting homecoming for the artist. {Will appear in FYI on Apr 2, 2013
