Beyond the Classroom presents Mr. Mark Stewart, "Greening Campus, Culture, Curriculum and Community."

Mr. Stewart has been with the Office of Sustainability at the University of Maryland since its inception in 2007. He developed and leads the Chesapeake Project, Student Sustainability Advisors program, and administers the University Sustainability Fund, among other projects. Mark earned his Master's degree in Higher Education Policy & Leadership from the University of Maryland where he studied the role of higher education in creating a sustainable society. He is also a contributing editor to the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education. This lecture is part of the "Beyond Sustainable Development" seminar series sponsored by Beyond the Classroom Living & Learning Program at the University of Maryland. {Will appear in FYI on Apr 5, 2013
