ME Seminar TODAY! Challenges of Predictive Simulation

Description:
Challenges of Predictive Simulation Presented by Dr. Dan Segalman (Sandia National Laboratories) To address its national security, energy, and environmental missions, Sandia National Laboratories relies on computational simulation to predict system behavior of systems not yet built, no longer in existence, or too difficult to test. This seminar will present three challenges of such predictive simulation. Dr. Dan Segalman earned his doctorate in engineering mechanics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation. {Will appear in FYI on Jun 26, 2013
