National Preparedness Month - Be Prepared, Receive a Free Flashlight Keychain!

September is National Preparedness Month. Preparedness is a shared responsibility, it takes a whole community. Preparing can start with four important steps: 1) Be informed about emergencies that could happen, and identify sources of information in your community that will be helpful before, during and after an emergency. 2) Make a plan for what to do in an emergency. 3) Build an emergency supply kit. 4) Get involved. University of Maryland Emergency Management invites you to visit the Department of Environmental Safety table at the First Look Fair to receive a free flashlight keychain to add to your emergency kit! {Will appear in FYI on Sep 18, 2013
