MAPP Lecture + Exhibition Opening: "Catalytic Structures: Transformed Types | Monday | 10-21-2013

Join us for a lecture and exhibition by architect Nader Tehrani, Professor/Head, Department of Architecture at MIT School of Architecture and Planning, and Principal at NADAAA, a practice dedicated to advancement of design innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and intensive dialogue with the construction industry. Catalytic Structures: Transformed Types is part of MAPP's Fall Lecture Series 2013. Tehranis work will be on display in The Kibel Gallery and the Linear Gallery, beginning October 21, 2013 As principal and founder of Office dA, Tehranis work has been recognized with notable awards, including the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in Architecture (2007), the United States Artists Fellowship in Architecture and Design (2007) and the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture (2002); widely exhibited at MOMA, LA MOCA and ICA Boston; and is part of the permanent collections of the Canadian Center for Architecture and the Nasher Sculpture Center. {Will appear in FYI on Oct 15, 2013
