International Brown Bag Series in Education: EFL in Argentina and Morocco

Description:
English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Argentina and Morocco: Critical Practices and Perspectives from High School Classrooms The teaching of English has undergone some fundamental shifts in Morocco and Argentina despite the uniqueness of each context. A panel of distinguished teachers from Morocco and Argentina speak about the current challenges and opportunities pertaining to the teaching of EFL in both countries. The speakers will share thoughts about their EFL/ESL curricula, teacher training and accreditation, the urban-rural divide, as well as other critical issues in K-12. The presentation will be followed by Q&A. Light refreshments will be provided. {Will appear in FYI on Nov 11, 2013
