Writers Here & Now Series: Faculty and Alumni Reading by Joshua Weiner, Katy Didden, and Shara Lessley

Description:
Come hear readings by Katy Didden, Joshua Weiner, and Shara Lessley at the last Writers Here & Now event of the semester! Public Reception at 6:15 pm in Dorchester Hall Reading at 7:00 pm in Ulrich Recital Hall, Tawes Katy Diddens first book of poems, The Glaciers Wake (2013), won the Lena-Miles Todd Prize from Pleiades Press. Her poems and reviews appear in journals such as Ecotone, Bat City Review, The Kenyon Review, Image, and The Missouri Review, among others. Shara Lessley is the author of Two-Headed Nightingale (2012) and the recipient of a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, the Diane Middlebrook Poetry Fellowship from the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the Olive B. OConnor Fellowship from Colgate University, among others. Joshua Weiner is professor of English at the University of Maryland. He is the author of three poetry collections: The Figure of a Man Being Swallowed by a Fish (2013), From the Book of Giants (2006), and The Worlds Room (2001). {Will appear in FYI on Dec 4, 2013
