For Colored Folks (Free Performance)

Description:
As part of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Centers Civil War to Civil Rights: The Well-Being of a Nation series, this production combines Ntozake Shanges For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf and playwright Keith Antar Masons For Black Boys Who Have Considered Homicide When The Streets Were Too Much. This adaptation forms one choreo-poem that explores the lives of African Americans. The program repeats Sunday at 3 p.m.
