Grass-Fed Meats: Farmer Forrest Pritchard Presents

Forrest Pritchard of Smith Meadows Farm in Berryville, VA will speak about how he diversified  and saved  his familys farm with multiple livestock enterprises and direct marketing, including grass-fed meats. Forrest is a professional farmer, writer and public speaker. One of the first grass finished farms in the country, his farm has sold at leading farmers markets in Washington DC for fifteen years. His book Gaining Ground: A Story of Farmers Markets, Local Food and Saving the Family Farm was named a Top Ten Book by Publishers Weekly, Washingtonian Magazine and NPRs The Splendid Table.
