Make Your Move – Incorporate more activity into your daily life

Our bodies were designed to move - a lot. Sadly, in our increasingly butt-bound, tech-driven culture, we move very little. So what should YOU do? Just. Get. Up. And move - at least once every hour for 5 to 10 minutes. There aren’t any definitive recommendations, but you will benefit by finding ways to increase the number of minutes you spend “in motion” each day. To help you think about easy ways to move more, we’ve compiled a list of 50 ways to hack your day to sneak in more physical activity as part of our Make Moves Maryland campaign: Show us how you make moves by entering our “Make Your Move” photo contest for a chance to win a FitBit Flex and Make Moves t-shirts.
