“Globalized Local Sounds - World Music in China"

The School of Music and Center for East Asian Studies present “Globalized Local Sounds - World Music in China,” a lecture by Mu Qian. A Beijing-based performing arts curator, ethnomusicologist, and writer, Mu Qian is currently on a fellowship of the Asian Cultural Council to do research on world music and observe arts administration practices in Washington D.C. and New York, from March to October, 2014. {Will appear in FYI on Apr 22, 2014
