Wellness Tip of the Week: Make the Farmers Market part of your summer routine

Our schedules change a lot over the summer as staff members or students, and it’s easy to fall out of healthy habits we had established during the school year. Take a minute to think of just 2 or 3 healthy habits you’d like to incorporate into your routine over the summer months and write them down. One easy habit you might consider is making the on-campus farmers market a regular part of your week. The market offers a wide variety of healthy fruits and vegetables, whole grains, eggs, and lean meats. Plus, the walk over to market each week offers some physical activity. Get out your agenda or open your online calendar, and pencil in The Farmers Market at Maryland every Wednesday from 11am – 3pm outside Cole Fieldhouse.
