RAP, Social Justice & the African Presence in Colombia

Description:
This program will consist of an interactive workshop where the music group, Negra Explosion (Black Explosion), will discuss the history of African Presence & Culture throughout the South American nation of Colombia. They will also discuss how they use RAP music to address myriad social justice and cultural issues. This event is Free to the public. Professors are strongly encouraged to bring their classes to this special event. {Will appear in FYI on Sep 4, 2014
