Distinguished Scholar Teacher Lecture by Dr. Michele Gelfand

Description:
The final presentation in this year's Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lecture Series will be given by Dr. Michele Gelfand from the Department of Psychology. She will present The World Is Not Flat: How Culture Shapes Mind, Behavior, and Society. The Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Lectures are given by faculty members who are being honored for their outstanding accomplishments in both scholarship and teaching. Besides Dr. Gelfand, this year's honorees are Dr. Raymond St. Leger, Dr. Arthur Eckstein, Dr. Patrick O'Shea and Dr. Jonathon Wilkenfeld. {Will appear in FYI on Nov 3, 2009
